883P movement is developed by Piaget and is designed upon a ultra-thin 880P movement. With excellent skills, Piaget is able to produce this wonderful fly-back movement. Two amazing achievements were made on La Cote-aux-Fees after two years of dedication. Masters from Piaget built thinner components, such as the barrel kernel (0.115 mm) and chronograph gear finger (0.06 mm). This new Altiplano has 50 hours of energy reserve and it has hour hand, minute hand, and small second hand at the 3 o’clock. There is an second time zone at 9 o’clock. The fly-back will immediately return back to zero and restarts recording after you push it again. What’s more, this movement corresponds to all the places, while vertical clutch makes sure the precision of movement.
